Subject: RE: communication workstream - a proposed WhatsApp structure Hi Rick, I went back into the data rather than answer from impression. Waste. 34.5% of messages (9,531) only continue the sender's own message within two minutes. 844 times this year the same message went into two or more groups within the hour, fourteen times into all three. 40% of photos have no caption. 22% arrive between 22:00 and 06:00. Structural solutions. Mostly not -- though I would not expect a chat group to be where that happens. Manpower belongs with planning, equipment with technical. What the data shows is that the same subjects return almost daily. Of twelve themes tracked in 2026, seven appeared in every month, and corrected for traffic growth they are raised on more days now than in January: Manpower / gang 19% of days in Jan -> 81% in Sep Forklift / equipment 35% -> 81% Crane breakdown 16% -> 50% One-to-one. Correct, not included. Only the three groups are, so these figures are a floor. What I am after is not WhatsApp solving operations. It is that in this volume something important gets missed. Structure makes each subject land in one predictable place, and makes clear which subjects keep returning so they can be picked up where they belong. (The 56 hours of reading is an estimate -- the counts are real, the seconds per message are a conservative assumption.) Happy to walk through any of it. Kind regards, Leon
